Back in November 2020 I adopted Felix from you guys. His name at the time was Nod (he had two siblings named Winkin and Blinkin, but I think they had been fostered out to another person.)

He recently turned five this year and we celebrated his 5th gotcha day on November 14th. It occurred to me tonight that I never shared a little fact about him that I absolutely love with you guys! I didn’t realize it until I had him adopted and home with me, but Felix has a little black “mole” on his front left paw. Coincidentally, I also have a mole on my left hand in a similar spot. I love to share that fact with people and it melts quite a few hearts when I show them!

He sleeps with me every night and loves to make “biscuits” on my hip before he settles down for the night. When he was a kitten he used to curl up on my chest and I’d wake up with him nestled in the crook of my neck. But since he’s a whopping 13 pounds and no longer a 4 pound little squirt he’s taken to settling in behind my knees.

Tonight we’re celebrating our first New Years Eve together in our own house as I purchased a house at the end of 2024 and moved in January 2025. So I thought I’d email you guys and give you an update on how Felix is doing ❤️
